Abilene/Taylor County Health Clinic
The Abilene/Taylor County Health District commissioned The Tittle Luther Partnership to develop a design for new facilities that would consolidate its diverse program functions into a single, new complex across the street from the Abilene City Hall.
The new facility provides health care in the areas of Immunizations; Blood Pressure, Cholesterol and Diabetic Screening; Family Planning; TB Testing; Pregnancy Testing; Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Nutrition Program; STD Testing; Primary Health Care; and Children’s Dental Services.
The building serves public health programs with differing space, scheduling, functional, and administrative needs. The complex includes separate satellite linked computer networks and necessary supporting multifunction classrooms, clinical facilities, and medical laboratory spaces.
