The Level II Trauma Center, an addition to the existing Hendrick Medical Center campus, responded to the growing and pressing need for the regional medical complex to expand and incorporate integrated state-of-the-art emergency care facilities into their comprehensive healthcare system.
The 35,000 square foot, brick veneer, concrete framed Trauma Center includes the full range of emergency services from trauma/cardiac critical care facilities and full radiological services, to intermediate care and fast-track care components. The center also includes extensive provisions for a future second level helipad with rapid patient access directly into the critical care area.
